Attorney General’s foolish KFx dealings violate fair public policy.

We would like to draw your special attention to the public policy issues involved in our report issued today on KFx Inc. (AMEX: KFX, $7.95) titled “Alaska’s Attorney General drags Governor into KFx’s web.”

The report shows that the Attorney General of the State of Alaska compromised himself by accepting payments and buying stock in a small, speculative and highly controversial company that was bidding to do state-assisted business in his own State. The State Attorney General had a series of other dealings with this highly-touted and exceedingly questionable company, all of which were hidden from the public in pronouncements made by the State’s Governor. The State Attorney General had direct authority over the State assistance that the company claims to be utilizing.

This incident is merely the latest in KFx’s 23 year stock promotion history. KFx has never had any commercial sales or profits.
