This privacy policy covers Asensio’s treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on our site, and when you use our services. This policy also applies to Asensio’s treatment of any personally identifiable information that our business partners share with us. Information Collection and Use
Asensio & Company, Inc. (referred to in this document as simply, “Asensio”) is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Asensio collects information from our users at multiple points on our website.

Information Sharing and Disclosure
Asensio will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone. Asensio will send personally identifiable information about our users to other companies or people when: (1) Asensio has your consent to share the information; (2) Asensio responds to subpoenas, court orders or legal process; or (3) Asensio finds that a user’s actions on our web sites violate the above terms of service, or any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.

Registration
Users are not required to complete a registration form in order to use this website. Users are required to register, however, if they would like to receive email updates from Asensio. During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). Users who wish to post to our Discussion Forums will also be required to provide a mailing address as well as demographic information (such as zip code, age, and professional job title/position). This information is used to contact the user about features on our site for which they have expressed interest. During this registration process, users will not be asked to provide unique identifiers (such as social security number).

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site.

Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s page viewership, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Newsletter
If a user wishes to receive updated information from Asensio, we ask for contact information such as name and email address. We send all new registrants a welcoming/thank you email to verify email address. Out of respect for the privacy of our users, we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Surveys
From time-to-time our site may request information from users via user surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age, or professional job title/position). Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site. Survey information will not be used for any advertising or marketing purposes.

Choice/Opt-out
